That's right, I am back in the writing space and getting ready to release two new books! The Southern Gods series will start with a duet loosely based on the Hades and Persephone tale from Greek mythology, and it makes my wild imagination so happy that I got to play with this myth! I created a world in which a morally grey billionaire who has his sights set on a particular hotel chain would inevitably fall for the woman set to inherit that very business, and get to throw in some hilarious brothers, a salacious gossip site that loves sharing secrets, a little danger, and a meddling Southern mama who is as vexing as she is ambitious.
This is a billionaire, age-gap, virgin romance set in the sweetly cruel south and it is so fun! I love these characters and their journey so much. The mood board I included above gives you a little hint to the luxurious feel of the story and includes some of the very first images that helped me cement who these characters are and what their world looks like. Of course there are wildly expensive cars, plenty of bourbon (the title probably clued you into that!), a rooftop garden, and fancy dresses. And there is a dog. He's pretty much a main character as well, and that makes my dog-loving heart so happy!
